George is a member of the Executive Committee of Alpha Bank Greece and serves as Chief Wealth Management Officer, overseeing Private Banking, Advisory and Products, Business Management and Services, as well as the Group’s subsidiaries: Alpha Asset Management and Alpha Finance.
With a career at Alpha Bank spanning over 30 years, George has held managerial roles since 2005, contributing across a range of treasury-related functions. Between 1998 and 2001, he broadened his international experience at Alpha Bank London, working within both the Treasury and IT units. His expertise encompasses treasury, global markets and investments, transaction banking, and investment banking—an impressive breadth that reflects both depth and versatility.
He holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Athens and an MBA from City University Business School. George also carries the top professional qualification (Category D) awarded by the Bank of Greece.
His leadership is defined by precision, integrity, and a forward-thinking approach to wealth management in an ever-evolving financial landscape.
